Assessors and Mentors

 

Assessors

 

The Center conducts training courses for candidates to join the Assessors Panel in order to introduce them to the Award's criteria, assessment process, and method of writing assessment reports.

Qualifications:

1.      Educational background in one of the management fields.
2.      Knowledge of the relevant sector.
3.      Experience in the assessment process.
4.      Knowledge of the Awards' criteria.
5.      Knowledge of the international excellence models.
6.      Ability to be available during the assessment process.
7.      Communication skills.
8.      Training skills.
9.      Team leading skills.
10.    Report Writing skills.
11.    Excellent command of Arabic and English (reading and writing).
 


Course content:

1.      Approved assessors skills and requirements.
2.      The EFQM Excellence Model.
3.      Assessment process stages.
4.      Case studies.
5.      Award's criteria.

Mentors

 

The Center conducts training courses for individuals willing to acquire the Approved Mentor certificate that enables them work the organizations participating in the King Abdullah II Awards for Excellence.

Qualifications:

1.      Educational background in one of the management fields or any related field.
2.      Knowledge and expertise in the relevant sector.
3.      Experience in the Management field.
4.      Knowledge of the Awards' criteria.
5.      Knowledge about the assessment process.
6.      Qualities like honesty, diplomacy, intellectuality.
7.      Communication skills.
8.      Training skills.
9.      Team leading skills.
10.    Report Writing skills.
11.    Change Management Skills.
12.    Ability to work as a part timer to complete the mentoring process during     the mentoring.
